It all started in 1914 when Alberto Pio Davila founded a banana farm. He recognised the importance of protecting natural resources and embraced organic farming methods long before it became mainstream. Over the years, Daabon grew steadily and expanded its portfolio to include other products such as palm oil, bananas and coffee. But the company never lost sight of the future. It invested in research and development at an early stage to develop innovative technologies and cultivation methods. By using state-of-the-art technology and data analytics, Daabon has been able to increase its productivity while minimising its environmental footprint. Another milestone in Daabon's history was the introduction of the Fair Trade programme. The company recognised the importance of social responsibility early on and was committed to fair working conditions and fair wages. This commitment not only helped to improve the living conditions of employees, but also strengthened customers' trust in the Daabon brand. Today, after 100 years, Daabon is a global company with operations all over the world. It has become a pioneer in sustainable agriculture.
