#1 in the global ranking of sustainable palm oil producers
The Daabon Group is once again at the top of the currently published ranking list for producers of sustainable palm oil.
The SPOTT platform, an initiative of the SZL (Zoological Society of London), has ranked the Colombian company Grupo Daabon as number 1 in the palm oil category in its latest report
, following its
transparency in ESG (environmental, social and governance) policies. SPOTT evaluated 100 palm oil
palm oil producers, processors and traders on their disclosure of organizational, policy and
sustainability practices, as well as environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues.
Daabon reclaimed the top spot by gaining 8.1 points since the last measurement and an overall
total score of 95.6%. In addition, it stands out when monitoring global media coverage of the
companies assessed, thanks to its cross-border positioning through sustainable practices, the
natural resources, the environment and communities.
